When do Memorial Day mattress sales begin
Memorial Day mattress sales will likely begin in early May or possibly late April. Retailers have a habit of extending holidays by offering early deals and mattress manufacturers are no exception. That said, some of the best Memorial Day mattress sales will likely launch closer to Memorial Day itself, which will be on Monday, May 31.
What are the best Memorial Day mattress sales
Outside of Black Friday, Memorial Day mattress sales are some of the best discounts you’ll see all year. You’ll see a mix of dollar-off discounts as well as free bedding gift sets bundled with your mattress purchase. Some of the best Memorial Day mattress sales offer a mix of both. Companies like Saatva tend to offer dollar-off discounts with savings of up to $200 off when you spend $1,000. Other mattress manufacturers like Nectar will offer up to $399 off mattresses and include a bedding bundle worth $399 with every purchase.
Memorial Day mattress sales — Saatva
What to expect: Saatva offers some of the best luxury mattresses we’ve tested. In addition, you get free white glove delivery to the room of your choice. In terms of mattresses, we’re fans of the Saatva Classic, which undercuts its luxury mattress competitors. We found the Saatva Classic to be comfortable and supportive. It’s also buoyant, with a gentle bounce, and provides fantastic support all the way up to the edges.
As part of its Memorial Day mattress deals, Saatva took $200 off all mattress purchases of $1,000 or more last year. While a very aggressive an excellent deal, Saatva has since increased its discount to as much as $225 off in the past. For 2021, we expect to see at least a $200 off discount, but would hold out till the actual holiday itself in case the discount is increased.
Memorial Day mattress sales — Nectar
What to expect: When it comes to mattresses, Nectar makes the best mattress we’ve reviewed. It offers the best value without making any compromises. The best part is you can often find Nectar mattresses on sale, although the sale might vary based on the time of year.
Last year, Nectar’s Memorial Day mattress deals knocked $400 off the cost of the Nectar Memory Foam Mattress dropping its price to just $499 (twin) and $799 (queen). Nectar also offered $399 worth of free gifts. The gifts included a free mattress protector ($99 value), free sheet set ($150 value), and free premium pillows ($150 value). We expect to see a similar discount when Memorial Day 2021 arrives.
