Oppo launched the Reno3 5G and Reno3 Pro 5G in China back in December and followed it up last month with a global version of the Pro, which we reviewed. We are now getting an international vanilla Reno3, which is again different from the Chinese 5G model.
The Oppo Reno3 comes with a 6.4-inch display of 1080 x 2400px resolution (20:9 aspect ratio) with a waterdrop notch on the top. The handset employs a Helio P90 chipset aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage.
The camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP 2x telephoto unit with f/2.4 aperture and an 8MP F/2.2 ultrawide cam. There’s also a 2MP monochrome depth sensor.
At the front the notch houses the same 44MP sensor as the global Reno3 Pro.
Inside the Oppo Reno3 is a 4,025 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 Flash charge.
As is to be expected the handset comes with ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box.
Unfortunately, there’s no information about pricing and availability at this point – the Oppo Reno3 has only been listed on the company’s Sri Lanka website. We should be hearing more about it in the coming days though.
