The Honor 30 Pro+ turned peoples heads when it was announced yesterday besides the flagship 5G chipset, it packs some impressive camera gear, including a 50MP Sony IMX700 sensor (1/1.28 with RYYB filter) and a periscope lens with 5x optical zoom.
One of the first promo videos shows the beautiful footage you can capture with the phone. Well, you and a professional video crew this clip features plenty of aerial shots and the phone even takes a dive underwater at one point (even though its only rated at IP54).
That aside, the phone can shoot cinematic 4K HDR timelapses as you see in the video, has 5-axis video stabilization and a dedicated night mode. The gimbals, sliders, drones and other hardware are optional.
The Honor 30 Pro+ ranks 2nd in DxOMark’s camera tests, just behind the Huawei P40 Pro. Note that the non-plus Honor 30 Pro has a smaller 1/1.7 IMX600 sensor with 40MP resolution, the other three cameras (including the periscope, ultra wide and depth sensor) are identical.
