Xiaomi’s former sub-brand Redmi will unveil the Note 9 series tomorrow, and we expect to see three smartphones – the vanilla Note 9, a Pro model, and a Max variant.
The Note 9 and Note 9 Pro recently passed through Geekbench, revealing their key specs in the process. And today we are looking at a live image of what’s allegedly the Note 9 Pro, along with its retail box.
The image doesn’t reveal any specifications of the Note 9 Pro but shows off the back of the device which houses a square-shaped quad camera setup. Also, unlike its predecessor, the Note 9 Pro doesn’t have a rear-mounted fingerprint reader because it will be likely embedded to the power button located on the right side of the phone.
Another detail to note here is that Redmi Note 9 Pro is rumored to arrive in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black colors, but the unit we are looking at has a coat of red paint. This either confirms the Note 9 Pro will be available in more than three colors, or that we are looking at a fake image.
We don’t have to wait much longer to find out since the Note 9 lineup will be unveiled tomorrow through an online-only event which will start at 6:30 AM UTC.
