Black Friday isn’t your only chance to score a killer deal on a new TV. Cyber Monday is also a hotbed of discounted TV deals — and with pricing starting as low as $300 for a must-have model from the likes of LG, Samsung, and Vizio, and financing available for those wanting to split the cost over an extended period, there’s bound to be something that will tickle your fancy.
Obviously, with so much cash being thrown around, retailers are reducing everything from flagship OLED TVs and QLED TVs to half-decade-old HDTVs to draw customers in. This is why it’s essential to seek advice from an impartial mediator, like Digital Trends — we sifted through thousands of our deals, calling upon our expert wits to separate the wheat from the chaff.
The result? A list of the best Cyber Monday TV deals you can trust.

Now, let’s not beat around the bush: We still have a bit of a wait ahead of us until the clock strikes Cyber Monday. The online shopping bonanza is scheduled to kick off just after midnight on December 2, the first Monday after Black Friday draws to a close at the end of the day on November 29. But this doesn’t mean you have to wait, credit card in hand, until then.
If you’re in desperate need of a new TV, there are several deals available now that are somewhat safe bets — either because they’re so cheap that it’s unlikely they’ll be reduced further this side of 2020, or because the retailer behind the savings has guaranteed their pricing, offering to refund the difference if it knocks more money off over Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Take Best Buy, for example. It’s so confident the discounts it’s offering on Sony OLED TVs are second to none that it’s promised to refund the difference if they’re reduced further over Black Friday, as part of its Magnolia Anniversary Sale (pre-Black Friday Sale). As if that wasn’t enough, it’s also throwing in interest-free, 24-month financing with all Anniversary orders.
Then we have Vizio, which instructed Best Buy to reduce the 75-inch and 65-inch Vizio P-Series and 65-inch Vizio M-Series through the end of Cyber Monday. But wait, there’s more — it also told the retailer to slash the price of both the 65-inch and 58-inch Vizio V-Series. You’ll need to act fast to bag them on the cheap, though: They’re only on sale through November 23.
What TV deals to expect from Cyber Monday 2019
There was once a time when Black Friday was the only chance to bag a new television on the cheap. But oh, how times have changed. Nowadays, the bulk of the Cyber Monday TV deals we see aren’t dissimilar to the Black Friday deals that came before them. Alas, the easiest way to predict what’s coming on Cyber Monday is to analyze what happened on Black Friday.
However, seeing as Black Friday 2019 isn’t due to commence until November 29, that isn’t possible — so we’ll have to take a trip down memory lane, to Black Friday 2018 and Cyber Monday 2018, both of which were home to swarms of discounted Toshiba Fire TVs, TCL Roku TVs, and Vizio SmartCast TVs, as well as LG OLED TVs and Sony OLED TVs, and Samsung QLED TVs.
Suffice to say, it was the older models that were treated to the most significant discounts — and that should be the case with Cyber Monday 2019. Although, unlike Cyber Monday 2018, it won’t be 2017 models that serve as the pollen. Instead, all eyes will be on the 2018 TVs that took the world by storm, including the OLED LG C8 and Sony A8F, and QLED Samsung Q9FN.
Here’s a brief look at some of the TVs we think will be discounted, based on what we saw discounted at earlier shopping events:

How to choose a TV
If you’re reading this, it’s because you’ve landed here ahead of Cyber Monday 2019. This puts you in the perfect position to bag the best deal you possibly can come the big day. How? Because it gives you ample time to prepare — the main piece of advice we’d give to anyone searching for a new television. Start by identifying your limit. How large can you go? 60 inches?
Once you’ve done that, consider which features you need. There are an awful lot to choose from, starting with Roku OS on TCL’s latest TVs to Chromecast and Google Assistant on select Sony and Vizio models. So take a good, long think about what will make your life easier. If voice-control is a must, go with one of the latter manufacturers. If it’s streaming you’re after, opt for a TCL.
