Here’s one TV I’m glad that’s still on sale as we get closer to Cyber Monday. The 65-inch Roku Plus is on sale for just $549 at Best Buy, which is $100 off. This is one of the best bargains for a QLED set you’ll find at this screen size.
In our Roku Plus Series review, we really liked its smart Roku interface and HDR color performance, and it’s sound is quite good. You get 4 HDMI 2.0 ports on board along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The brightness could be better but overall this is a very good Cyber Monday TV deal.
Walmart is known for some of the cheapest Cyber Monday TV deals around, but this one is ridiculous — in a good way. Right now you can get the 55-inch TCL 4-Series Roku TV for just $188 at Walmart, which is down from $379.
For that very low total you get HDR10 support for better colors and contrast, Alexa and Google Assistant support and the great and easy-to-use Roku software. There’s four HDMI ports, including one with eARC support if you want to add a soundbar. We also love the simple remote with voice search capability and Apple AirPlay built in.
LG C3 65″ 4K OLED: was $2,599 now $1,596 @ Amazon
Lowest price: The LG C3 OLED is one of the best OLED TVs you can buy. In our LG OLED C3 review, we highlighted its perfect blacks, stunning contrast and rich, accurate colors. It’s also great for gaming thanks to its Game Optimizer features and 120Hz refresh rate. Add in Dolby Vision/HDR 10/HLG support, four HDMI 2.1 ports, built-in Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant/Apple HomeKit support, and LG’s Magic Remote and it’s no wonder we awarded it an Editor’s Choice.
Sony 65″ X80K 4K TV: was $999 now $698 @ Amazon
The X80K is part of Sony’s 2022 lineup of TVs. This entry-level TV features HDR10/HLG/Dolby Vision support, Google Assistant/Alexa compatibility, built-in Google Assistant, and four HDMI ports. It’s at its lowest price to date.
Samsung 50″ QN90C QLED 4K TV: was $1,299 now $1,097 @ Amazon
I’ll be honest: $1,099 is a tall ask for a 50-inch TV these days. But this isn’t just any 50-inch TV. The Samsung QN90C Neo QLED offers best-in-class HDR brightness and excellent overall performance. This TV has HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG support, a 120Hz refresh rate and 4 HDMI ports (two are HDMI 2.1 ports). Also included are Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings integration. Our Samsung QN90C QLED TV review said it best: “Thanks to its best-in-class HDR brightness, ample viewing options and strong picture performance, this is the QLED to beat this year.”
Toshiba 65″ 4K Fire TV: was $529 now $369 @ Amazon
The Toshiba Fire TV is the perfect smart TV for anyone who wants a modern TV on a small budget. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10 content as well as DTS Virtual: X audio. In our Toshiba C350 Fire TV review, we said its color accuracy, low lag time, and responsive Fire TV operating system make it a great value for budget shoppers.
Amazon 65″ Omni 4K QLED TV: was $799 now $589 @ Amazon
Amazon’s Omni 4K QLED Fire TV is on sale for just $589. Unlike the 2021 model which used LED-LCD technology, this 2022 revamp sports a QLED display, giving it a wider color gamut and an uptick in brightness/contrast. It features HDR10/HLG/HDR10+ Adaptive/Dolby Vision IQ support, full array local dimming, and four HDMI ports (one HDMI 2.1 with eARC). You also get Alexa support baked in.
We’re seeing major deals on all the must-have streaming services and cable alternatives so you can cut the cord, along with the best streaming device deals and more.
Right now, our favorite Cyber Monday streaming deal is the Disney Plus and Hulu bundle for just $2.99 a month, which is a massive discount versus the regular $15.98 price. But if you just want Hulu you can get it for an entire year for just 99 cents a month. We also recommend snagging Peacock for just $1.99 if you want to watch movies like The Holdovers, which should arrive on the streaming service by the end of the year.
Disney Plus + Hulu (w/ads): was $15.98 now $2.99 per month
Looking to get a great TV for under $500? Look no farther than the the Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV, which is a solid 4K TV that won’t break the bank.
I really like Roku TVs because the Roku interface is among the simplest and easiest of any smart TV to navigate, in my opinion. In our positive Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV review we praised this Editor’s Choice TV’s first-rate HDR color and great design, and right now you can still get one for over $100 off!
Roku – 55″ Class Plus Series QLED 4K: was $499 now $379
Need a great TV? you’d be hard-pressed to do better than the LG C3 OLED, and right now Amazon still has a few sets on sale for Black Friday at a solid 20% discount.
That knocks $550 off the price of a 65-inch LG C3, which is one of the best OLED TVs on the market with all the stellar brights, inky blacks and incredible contrast ratios of a good OLED panel. I own the older C2 model of this 64-inch 4K TV and I love it so far.
65″ LG G3 OLED TV: was $2,796, now $2,246 @ Amazon
The thin bezels of Samsung’s The Frame QLD TV may seem like a marketing gimmick, but there’s undeniable appeal in having classy artwork (or whatever images you want) showing on it when not in use.
If you’ve had your eye on one, now’s the time to pull the trigger because the 55-inch 2023 model is on sale at Amazon at a significant 35% Black Friday discount. That’s a great price for this 4K QLED TV, which sports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support and an anti-reflective display coating to make it easier to watch in bright light.
Samsung The Frame 55-Inch Class QLED 4K: was $1,497 now $987 @ Amazon
The LG A2 OLED remains one of the most affordable Black Friday TV deals ever with an OLED panel at just $549. And you have to wonder if there’s a catch. Not really at this price.
Although this is a 2022 set, we were so intrigued by the A2 OLED last year that we bought one and tested it. In our LG A2 OLED TV review, we said that it offers a wonderfully colorful picture and fairly strong audio. You also get LG’s strong webOS software and Dolby Vision support, as well as Alexa and Google Assistant built in.
Sure, the refresh rate is only 60Hz, and there’s only three HDMI ports, but this is a great option for a small room or bedroom if you want great picture quality on a medium size budget.
You might be wondering with all of these Black Friday TV deals what people are actually buying. Here’s a quick glance at some of the top TV sales so far, and it’s a pretty interesting mix. The prices range from $339 up to $1,597 and there are two OLED TVs that made the list.
If you’re looking for a big screen for less money, the TCL 4-Series for $398 looks like a great value, and it runs the great Roku TV software.

• Amazon Echo Show 15 w/voice remote: was $279 now $184 @ Amazon
You might not think of the Echo Show 15 as a smart TV, but this smart display received an update this past year that turned it into a full-fledged Fire TV, allowing you to use all of the best streaming services. It’s the perfect size if you’re looking for a small TV for your kitchen or some other room where space is at a premium. This deal also includes the Alexa voice remote, so you can simply ask for the show you want, rather than hunting through menus.
And, when you’re not using it as a TV, the Echo Show 15 makes for a great picture frame and smart home controller, where you can tun on your lights, get live views from video doorbells and security cameras, and more. If it’s in your kitchen, it’s also super handy for setting timers and looking up recipes. If you need more convincing, you should check out our Amazon Echo Show 15 review, but know that it’s a favorite among a few of us at Tom’s Guide.
• Hisense 75″ U6 Mini-LED ULED 4K TV: was $748 now $648 @ Walmart
Hisense’s proprietary ULED technology represents a value-priced middle ground between LED LCD TVs, and higher-priced OLED and QLED sets from LG, Samsung, and others. So, if you’re looking for a big-screen TV for less, Hisense is a good brand to consider. The U6 also features Dolby Vision/HDR10+/HDR10/HLG support, full array local dimming and built-in Google Assistant. It has a 60Hz refresh rate, so it may not be the best for gaming, though. Even though this Black Friday deal only shaves $100 from its regular price, this the cheapest price we’ve ever seen for this TV.
Price check: sold out @ Amazon | $649 @ Best Buy
There are a lot of decisions you need to make when buying a TV: Should you get an OLED set? What size TV should you buy? What’s HDR, ATSC, and refresh rates? Should I get an 8K set? We’ve put together a few guides to help you make a more informed buying decision:
It’s all well and good to score a great TV, but then what are you going to watch on it? Fortunately, a number of the best streaming services are also running Black Friday deals, so you can watch all of the best and latest shows for less. Here are some of the best streaming deals we’ve found so far. Be sure to check out the best Black Friday streaming deals for more bargains.
Peacock: $1.99/month for a year
This is the deal we look for each year, and one that’s a real bargain, as it’s good for a full 365 days.
Disney Plus + Hulu (w/ads): was $15.98 now $2.99 per month
If you have kids, then you’ll really want to check out this deal, which gets you all of Disney’s extensive catalog — which includes Star Wars and Marvel. This deal is also good for a full year.
Paramount Plus: was $5.99 now $1.99 per month
While this deal only gets you three months at the reduced rate, that should be plenty of time to binge all those Star Trek and Taylor Sheridan shows.
Max with ads: was $9.99 now $2.99 per month
Perhaps the best streaming service is now available for a third of the price for six months. It’s for the ad-supported tier, but hey, a deal’s a deal, right?
While most TVs need to be on an entertainment center or mounted to the wall, The Sero from Samsung has it’s own built-in stand. This 43-inch TV might be a bit on the small side but it does have a rather unique trick up its sleeve: you can rotate its screen from landscape to portrait mode. This is great for social media apps like that use vertical video but you can also mirror your smartphone on the big screen. The Sero may be better suited for the office but it could also come in handy when space is at a premium in smaller rooms or apartments.
The Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV is an excellent buy if you’re on the lookout for a budget OLED TV. Unlike other smart TVs that are overly complicated and hard to navigate, this 55-inch set ships with Roku’s streamlined user interface that makes it easy to quickly find something to watch. With 350+ live TV channels including the Roku Channel, you certainly won’t be bored anytime soon. In our Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV review, we praised its first-rate HDR color and even gave it an Editor’s Choice award.
If you’ve been waiting for a great deal on a huge OLED TV, the 77-inch S89C from Samsung is currently $1,600 off at Best Buy. This TV packs in a ton of useful features to make for a better viewing experience including Anti Glare with Ultra Viewing Angle technology, 4K upscaling and it’s even Pantone Validated so the images on the screen will look just as good as they do in real life. As the legs on the S89C are in the center, it will look great on your entertainment center. However, if you’d rather wall mount this 77-inch TV, Samsung OLED’s LaserSlim design means it only has a depth of 4mm.
While the 4-Series Fire TV is definitely a bargain, upgrading to the Omni QLED TV could be worth it if you have a slightly bigger budget. Released in October, the new Omni Fire TV sports a QLED display for a wider color gamut and improved brightness/contrast. Plus it’s loaded with features, including support for several HDR formats (HDR10/HLG/HDR10+ Adaptive/Dolby Vision IQ).
If you like the Fire TV ecosystem, it doesn’t get better than this. Get it now while it’s on sale for Black Friday.
The Amazon 4-Series 4K Fire TV is a great option if you want a smart TV for less. You still get the Fire TV user interface and the Alexa Voice remote all without breaking the bank. And with HDR support (HDR10/HLG) a lot of the best TV shows and movies will look excellent on its 4K display despite the budget price point. It’s no surprise this is one of the most searched for deals this Black Friday.
There’s been a lot of talk about affordable LG C3 OLED TV alternatives today, but why not treat yourself to the real thing this Black Friday? It’s the best TV we’ve ever tested and right now you can get it at a serious discount. Take advantage of this deal before it’s gone.
It’s not as good of a deal as we saw during Amazon Prime Day, but the Sony 55″ A80K OLED TV is back down to $1,398 on Amazon after a $600 discount.
In our Sony A80K OLED TV review, we praised this TV’s dazzling picture quality and captivating sound system, as well as its highly polished Google TV smart interface and improved remote. The only notable drawback is just two HDMI 2.1 ports, but there’s two other regular HDMI ports.
It’s a nice alternative to the LG C3 OLED and despite being a year old at this point, remains one of the best OLED TVs.
Another great Black Friday TV deal is the Sony 85-inch Bravia XR X90L 4K TV that’s on sale for $1,999 at Amazon. While the price might lead you to think that this is some low-level budget model, the Sony X90L is on the higher end of Sony’s 2023 TV lineup, just beneath the flagship Sony X95L.
In terms of specs, the X90L uses the latest Cognitive Processor XR for some of the best motion handling and color reproduction, and it uses HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K/120Hz gaming. The panel itself is full array with local dimming — which might not be as good as Mini-LED or OLED — but delivers a good contrast for the price.
On the smart platform side of things, the X90L uses Google TV and comes with Chromecast Built-in which allows you to send videos directly from your phone or tablet to the TV. For cinephiles, the X90L supports all the latest HDR formats including Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode.
Grab this one before it’s gone!
Sometimes you need an in-between size when buying a new TV, for example when a 65-inch is too small for your space but a 75-inch TV is too big. In that case, you just need a 70-inch model. Unfortunately, those can be hard to find.
Thankfully, Samsung has a great deal on that exact screen size.
This 70-inch Samsung Q60C QLED, one of the few TVs made to fit that exact specification, is new for 2023 and comes with Samsung’s all-important QLED technology. The only downside is that it’s a 60Hz native panel and doesn’t have the best brightness. If you need something that fits perfectly in a library nook, though, the Q60C fits the bill.
After close to a decade of not making them, Samsung has returned the OLED ring with three new QD-OLED models that combine the best of the company’s research on quantum dot technology with the exquisite contrast of OLED. The result is an incredibly rich picture that place them among the best TVs on the market.
The two latest Samsung OLED models are the S95C and S90C.
Both of these models offer 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, ATSC 3.0 and a 120Hz refresh rate, plus HDR/HDR 10/HDR 10+/HLG and Dolby Atmos support. The S95C is going to use One Connect Box for cable management, but otherwise is very similar to the lower-priced model. For my money, I’d go for the S90C as you get a larger screen for less, but if you’re buying for a home theater, the S95C is worth the investment.
On Reddit recently, I saw a post from a person debating whether to buy the LG C3 OLED or save some money by buying the LG B3 OLED. In short, you’re probably better off buying the C3 if you’re a gamer, but the B3 OLED is no slouch when it comes to putting out excellent picture quality.
Released in 2023, the LG B3 is a mid-tier OLED TV featuring over 8.3 million self-lit pixels for rich contrast and vibrant colors. For gamers, this TV has a 120Hz refresh rate, Game Optimizer features, and HDMI 2.1 support, though there are fewer here than on the C3 OLED.
For movie lovers, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Atmos support is also included, but upscaling might be slightly worse than the LG C3 given that the LG B3 uses a slightly less powerful processor.
Physical media isn’t in great shape. New releases are still coming out every week here in the US, but some studios like Disney are stopping sales of DVDs and Blu-rays in other territories. That’s a very bad thing.
Physical media, besides offering the full experience of the film and the best data transfer rate on playback, preserves a film in a way that streaming doesn’t. Streaming companies can remove films from their services on a whim, with some movies and shows disappearing forever from the service.
If you want to be part of the group that’s helping to preserve physical media, consider picking up this class-leading Panasonic 4K Blu-ray Player that’s $150 off today for Black Friday. It supports basically every format disc, from Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and offers exceptional upscaling. Since Oppo closed its 4K Blu-ray player division, this Panasonic model has been my go-to recommendation to people looking for a top-class player.
Samsung’s The Frame is one of the most popular TVs at any given time, so it makes sense that it’s gotten a substantial price drop for Black Friday. Right now, the 55-inch 2023 model is down from its regular price of $1,497 to just $987 at Amazon.
What makes this QLED such a popular pick?
When you’re not using your TV, you’re left with a big black rectangle hanging on your wall. Samsung’s The Frame TV helps fill that gap in your decor by showing artwork by the masters — or yours, if you want — when you’re not streaming shows or movies. If you want a tasteful TV hanging in your living room that shows off how sophisticated you are, then this is a great luxury pick.
You know the saying. Go big or go home. Well, right now you can bring home a huge 75-inch 4K for under $500. The Onn Roku TV is just $498 at Walmart, which is $80 off the regular price.
We like Roku TVs because they are easy to use — from the operating system to the remote. And this set offers HDR10 support, Dolby Audio and Apple AirPlay, plus voice search for finding stuff to watch. Sure, the refresh rate is only 60Hz (120Hz is better) but overall this is a great big-screen bargain.
Are you looking for the ultimate bang-for-your-buck Black Friday TV deals? You’ve come to the right place, as we’ve rounded up the best Black Friday TVs under $300. And the screen sizes go all the way up to 55 inches for TCL and LG on these sets.
Our favorite is the the TCL S4 S-Class for just $259 @ Amazon. It packs Dolby Vision/HDR10/HLG support, DTS Virtual:X audio, built-in Chromecast and Google TV Smart OS. You also get three HDMI ports, including one with eARC support.
This is Mark Spoonauer sitting in for Nick Pino for a bit and I have a great deal to share on an OLED TV I’m testing right now. Yes, the LG G3 OLED is sitting in my living room, and it’s the most glorious set I’ve ever seen.
Right now the 65″ LG G3 OLED TV is $2,296 at Amazon, which is $500 off the regular price. And the 55″ LG G3 OLED is $1,796 at Amazon, which is a decent $100 off. I’m really enjoying the rich colors this panel offers, as well as the ultra-wide viewing angles. And as you’ll see in our LG G3 OLED review, you get an even brighter picture than the LG C3 OLED. This is the ultimate TV at a very good price.
Let’s talk OLED TVs for a second. They’re some of the best TVs on the market, period, and typically that means they come with some pretty steep price tags.
But today’s Black Friday, so that means you can get them for a substantial discount.
The C3 OLED comes with everything you’d want from a TV serving as your home entertainment centerpiece: perfect blacks, thrilling contrast, and rich, accurate colors at every point across the visual spectrum. It’s one of the best OLED TVs you can buy, and it’s more affordable compared to competing premium OLED TVs like the Sony Bravia XR A95K and the Samsung S95C.
If I planned on buying a new TV for Black Friday, the TCL QM8 is the one I’d go for. It delivers one of the brightest pictures of any TV I’ve ever seen and comes with all of the most important features like a 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports.
On top of all that, the TCL 65-inch QM8 4K Mini-LED TV is $800 off at Amazon right now. This is the lowest price ever for this recently-released TV. And it doesn’t just deliver incredible brightness — the QM8 also shows good color accuracy, with a Delta-E score of 2.744 and 97.26% coverage of the UHDA-P3 color gamut.
All that said, I think this should be your pick today.
We love OLED TVs, but they’re not the best when it comes to brightness. If you want a TV you can use in a sunny living room, opt for a QLED.
Last year’s King of QLED TVs was the Samsung QN95B, now on sale for over $1,000 off its launch price for just $1,289 at Amazon right now.
Why buy it? The Samsung QN95B Neo QLED reached an incredible 1905.8 nits of brightness in our tests, and it’s very color-accurate too. We wish it had Dolby Vision support, but that’s as far as our complaints go with this fantastic TV. Check out our Samsung QN95B review for the full lowdown.
Here’s a good deal for the impressive 65-inch Q7 QLED TV from TCL, which is now at an all-time low price of $648 at Amazon .
With a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and over 200 local dimming zones, the colors and contrast on this TV make for spectacular viewing, whether you’re enjoying sports or movies. And saving $350 on the asking price doesn’t hurt either.
It’s one of the more affordable mid-range 65-inch TVs, so it’s definitely a solid deal.
If you want to go for a larger screen for Black Friday and don’t want an overly complicated smart platform, check out the 75-inch Roku Plus TV.
What I like about this model is that it offers great performance for a very affordable price. Our reviewer, the Head of Testing here at Tom’s Guide, was blown away by how colorful and bright this model was at this price point.
There are a few sacrifices to be made here — high levels of brightness and a full array of HDMI 2.1 ports just aren’t in the cards here — but this is an overall great pick for an easy-to-use 75-inch TV under $1,000.
Let’s talk about the mid-range models on sale today. I’ve seen some great TCL deals out there (the TCL QM8 is definitely worth keeping an eye on) but Hisense I think has the absolute best deals on TVs under $1,000.
For my money, I really like the Hisense U8K. The model on sale at Amazon is a 55-inch 4K HDR TV that uses Mini-LED backlighting for higher levels of brightness and contrast. It’s a native 120Hz panel and it comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports so you can connect it to a PS5 and/or Xbox Series X.
It’s one of the TVs I frequently watch and I’ve been loving it for binging Dolby Vision content on Netflix (Our Planet II makes for great TV testing material) so I highly recommend it at this price.
Sometimes, going with a new brand of TVs can be scary, especially if your last TV lasted you a long time. For that reason, sometimes people who currently own an LG TV might want to buy a new LG TV instead of trying a new manufacturer.
I totally get it, you like what you like.
The good news is that it isn’t just TCL and Hisense making budget TVs, Samsung and LG both make some really affordable models as well. Case in point? This 55-inch UQ70 model from LG. It offers a lot of great features like HDR support and Filmmaker Mode, and shoppers have given it a 4.7 rating with over 150 reviews.
If you want an LG TV for under $300, this is for sure the model to pick.
What’s the difference between a good budget TV and a bad budget TV?
When shopping around today, you’re going to see a lot of deals on very middling TVs that will look enticing because of the price. It’s common to see brands like Sceptre and Insignia TVs drop to unbelievably low prices today. So what’s their deal?
In short, a lot of these uber cheap TVs really aren’t great. Their colors are inaccurate, their brightness levels are low and they don’t look as crisp as other budget models from the likes of TCL or Hisense. Bad budget TVs typically have a higher return rate, so while you might be tempted to go all-in on one, you should definitely do some comparative shopping to see what else is available before buying.
Unless it’s your first TV, buying a 50-inch or a 40-inch model isn’t all that exciting. To really feel the thrill of Black Friday shopping, you might want to go for a larger model like this 75-inch Toshiba TV that’s down to $369 @ Amazon.
What I like about this model is that it supports Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10 content as well as DTS Virtual: X audio. In our Toshiba C350 Fire TV review, we said its color accuracy, low lag time, and responsive Fire TV operating system make it a great value for budget shoppers.
That being said, I don’t think it stacks up to some of the other budget models from TCL and Hisense, but I totally understand the temptation given its low price.
While there are so awesome cheap TV deals out there, I think it’s this TCL model that’s going to give you the best bang for your buck: The TCL Q5 4K QLED TV offers Dolby Vision/HDR10+/HDR10/HLG support, DTS Virtual: X audio, built-in Chromecast, and Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant compatibility.
Although the display is just 60Hz natively, Game Accelerator 120 allows for 120Hz VRR at a lower resolution. For a cheap gaming TV, this is great.
What makes this a step up model from the Onn and the S4 model is that it uses QLED, which means it will be brighter and more colorful than the two cheaper models. For well under $500, I think it’s a great deal.
One step above the the $99 HDTV listed below is the $149 Onn TV that’s on sale at Walmart. It offers a 4K resolution, which is nice given the larger screen size, and comes with Roku built-in.
I personally would see this TV as a great addition to a kids room or a dorm room instead of a home theater screen, but it will all depend on what your shopping budget looks like this year.
Yes, you can find cheaper TVs than this 40-inch Full HD TCL TV today, but this is the model I’d recommend as the best cheap TV. That’s because most of the super-cheap TVs you’ll see for Cyber Monday will be made by lesser-known brands like Insignia, but TCL makes some really good value TVs that often blow away the competition.
The model comes with Amazon’s Fire TV platform built-in, offering direct access to streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube, Sling TV, Paramount+, ESPN+ and more, plus it has smart home support for Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. For $100, it’s an awesomely affordable 40-inch TV.
