Dell’s Labor Day sales event is live and as part of its sale, Dell is taking $369 off its G16 Gaming Laptop. It packs a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 165Hz display, Core i7-12700H CPU, 17GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and a GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. It also boasts a backlit keyboard for any late night gaming sessions. It’s a great overall pick for newcomers to the world of PC gaming. Just be sure to use coupon code “ARMMPPS” at checkout in order to get the full discount.

It’s Labor Day and every iPad is on sale right now at Amazon. (Excluding the 10.9-inch iPad). The catch here is that Apple could announce new iPads as early as October. It’s not confirmed that they will, but if history is any indication — it’s a safe bet they will. When the new iPads come out, it might take awhile for them to see dollar-off discounts. You may see $25 to $50 off, but it’ll be awhile till they’re $100 off. So if you’re looking for dollar-off deals, these are pretty good. The iPad mini and iPad Air in particular are $100 off and at their lowest price ever.
From their personal NutriBullet blender to the NutriBullet Smart Touch Blender, NutriBullet is taking 20% off sitewide today via coupon “LABORDAY20”. It’s one of the biggest coupons I’ve seen from NutriBullet all year. I’ve been using the NutriBullet 7-Cup Food Processor which is on sale for $95 via coupon “LABORDAY20” ($24 off). It has a 450-watt motor, includes multiple blade attachments, and it’s made it easier than ever to slice, shred, chop, and even spiralize veggies.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller is one of the best pads for Xbox and PC gaming. In our Xbox Elite Series 2 controller review, we said it improves on an excellent premium gamepad, with better grips, more customization options and USB-C charging. Not to mention with a 40-hour battery life, you can game all day (and night) without needing to recharge. Right now the Xbox Elite Series 2 is on sale for its lowest price ever at Amazon.
Xbox Elite Series 2: was $179 now $139 @ Amazon
Here’s one more personal recommendation this Labor Day. The Luna Adult Weighted Blanket is on sale at its lowest price ever at Amazon right now. Its hypoallergenic construction, breathable cover, and even weight distribution were all reasons why we voted this one of the best weighted blankets you can buy. I’ve especially enjoyed using it during the colder months. It’s on sale for $54, but there’s an on-page digital coupon to save an extra 5% during checkout for a final price of $52.
Luna Weighted Blanket: was $71 now $52 @ Amazon
I love my Apple Watch 8 and I’d recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. It’s on sale for $309 (41mm) and $359 (45mm) right now at Amazon. On Prime Day, the 41mm model hit $279 and the 45mm model hit $309. So today’s price are the second-best prices I’ve seen for these watches. However, remember that the Apple September event will take place on Tuesday, September 12. There’s a pretty solid chance we’ll see the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 at said event. That means the Series 8 will probably sell for $279/$309 again come October. I doubt there will be any massive difference between the Series 8 and Series 9, but if you want to save an extra $50 or so, you might see cheaper prices in October (during the fall Prime Day 2 event).
Apple Watch 8 (GPS/41mm): was $399 now $309 @ Amazon
Apple Watch 8 (GPS/45mm): was $429 now $359 @ Amazon
Here’s a personal deal recommendation on something I own. I’ve been sleeping on the Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress since April. In my Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress review, I said it offers the cradling sensation I like from memory foam mattresses, but packs enough layers that your body won’t sink into the mattress, even if you weigh 240 lbs. The hybrid bed achieves this because it uses both memory foam and 8-inch innerspring coils to offer comfort and support. Nectar includes free shipping, returns, and a 365-night trial as well as a lifetime warranty. I’ll be honest — I’m 99.9% sure this will be cheaper on Cyber Monday. (Nectar usually holds a massive flash sale in early November and again on Cyber Monday), but if you can’t wait till then — this is an awesome bed.
Nectar Premier Hybrid (twin): was $1,349 now $899 @ Nectar
Nectar Premier Hybrid (queen): was $1,799 now $1,199 @ Nectar
Best Buy is one of the biggest retailers around, so it’s no surprise they have one of the biggest Labor Day sales today. Below I’m condensing their sale to my top 7 favorite deals. Most of them are exclusive Best Buy-only deals, which is even more of a reason to check them out. But if you want to see their complete sale, make sure to check out our Best Buy Labor Day sale coverage for the best deals today.
One of the best headphones we’ve ever tested just got a sweet Labor Day price cut. Right now you can get the excellent Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling headphones on sale for $348. Note that they were $20 cheaper on Prime Day, but this is their second-lowest price of all time. In our Sony WH-1000XM5 review, we praised these headphones for their engaging sound, impressive noise cancellation, stellar call quality, and long battery life.
Sony WH-1000XM5: was $399 now $348 @ Amazon
Best Buy is offering the best TV deals this Labor Day. Two of my favorite deals are on Roku’s new in-house smart TVs. I’ve been using the Roku Select Series 4K TV and it’s hands down the smartest TV I’ve ever used. Browsing through the TV’s interface is buttery smooth and so intuitive, thanks to the excellent Roku operating system. Picture quality is also sharp and crisp, whereas sound is clear and precisely what I’d want from my smart TV.
Both the Select Series and Plus Series are $50 off at Best Buy. I love the Select Series that I have, however, the Plus Series is QLED, which means you’ll get an even better picture. In fact, in our Roku Plus Series 4K QLED TV review, we called the TV an outstanding value. You can’t go wrong with either, but if you want the best picture possible (and can afford to spend a bit more) — go QLED.

Roku 65″ Plus Series 4K QLED TV: was $649 now $599 @ Best Buy
Time for a little buying advice! There are a lot of solid smartphone deals happening today at AT&T and Verizon. However, as you may know, the Apple September event will take place on Tuesday, September 12. The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to make their debut at this event. That means the current iPhone 14 series could receive a $100 price drop once the new phones are announced.
However, that also means the trade-in value of your older iPhone may drop after September 12. If you have an older iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 (and don’t want an iPhone 15), now is the time to trade it in for a new device. If you don’t have a device to trade in, wait for the iPhone 14 to drop in price or wait for the first iPhone deals on the new iPhone 15 before making a purchase.

iPhone 14 Pro: from $2/month @ AT&T
This Labor Day is shaping up to be pretty sweet for gamers. Right now you can get the WD_Black SN850X for just $65 at Amazon. It’s one of the best PS5 internal SSDs and it’s now a buck cheaper than it was on Prime Day. That’s $114 off and an excellent deal for a PS5 accessory that’s practically essential as the average install size of current-gen games continues to balloon. This SSD boasts a read speed of 7,300 Mbps and a write speed of 6,350 Mbps, which comfortably meets Sony’s requirements for a PS5-compatible SSD. Plus, it comes with a heatsink pre-installed so it’s ready to pop into your console straight out of the box.

Speaking of PS5, retail holidays are generally a great time to stock up on video games and Amazon has a BOGO sale ongoing right now. Just add two eligible games to your shopping cart and the cheapest one is on the house courtesy of Amazon. If your picks are of equal value, you’ll only pay for one. Even better, you can mix and match across platforms. The sale includes PS5, Xbox, and Switch games.

Happy Labor Day, all! Deals editor Louis here taking over the live blog on this cloudy/humid morning in New York. There are a ton of sales happening today, so let’s jump right into things.
It’s not often you see deals on the PS5. However, right now there are two pretty cool discounts you can get. Dell has the PS5 Disc Console on sale for $499. It comes with a free $75 Dell eGift Card, which you can use to buy games, accessories, or anything else you may need at Dell. Alternatively, Best Buy has the PS5 Final Fantasy XVI Bundle on sale for $509. That’s $50 off and a pretty sweet deal if you’re buying your first (or second) PS5 console.

One of my favorite smart home deals from Amazon has made a comeback just in time for Labor Day. The retailer is offering Echo speakers from $24, and you get a free Sengled smart bulb with many of the speakers too. The smart bulb can be controlled using the smart speaker, meaning you can set up automatic light shows, put your lights on a timer or turn off your lights at night without getting out of bed.

If you’re looking to seriously upgrade your setup this Labor Day, you’re in luck. The Samsung S95C is one of the best OLED TVs we’ve reviewed, and it’s been slashed in price in time for the holiday. In our Samsung S95C OLED TV review, we praised this model’s impressive brightness, excellent picture quality and easy cable management thanks to Samsung’s One Connect box. We also think this is the best gaming TV you can buy — it has a super low lag time of 9.2ms and can reach a refresh rate of 144Hz when used as a PC gaming monitor. The Samsung 55-inch S95C OLED TV is on sale for $500 off at Amazon right now — some third-party retailers on Amazon are offering bigger discounts, but stock is extremely limited.
Samsung S95C 55” 4K OLED TV: was $2,497 now $1,999 @ Amazon
Ok, so this isn’t a dollar-off discount, but if you were planning on buying the Galaxy Galaxy Watch 6 or the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Best Buy is bundling them with a free $50 Best Buy eGift card. In our Galaxy Watch 6 review, we said the new watches seem like the most polished Samsung smartwatches yet with truly substantial upgrades like a brighter display, comprehensive sleep tracking features, and slimmer design. Make sure to check out our Galaxy Watch 6 vs Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comparison to find out the main differences between Samsung’s new watches.

The Bose 700 headphones are one of the top noise-cancelling headphones you can buy. They’re stylish, comfortable to wear, and deliver the best noise-cancelling experience you can find. In our Bose 700 review, we said they offer clean, balanced sound with impressive, intuitive tech flourishes. They’ve dipped as low as $269 in the past, but that was a very limited deal. Priced at $299, they’re a must if you want the best noise cancelling headphones around.
Bose 700: was $379 now $299 @ Amazon
This isn’t an all-time price low. The 48-inch LG A2 4K OLED TV hit $569 last Black Friday. However, even at $649 this is an epic and rare deal on an OLED TV that we recommend. In our LG A2 OLED review, we said it offers outstanding picture quality, a great smart TV platform, and solid sound, plus low input lag. It offers Dolby Vision/HDR10/HLG support, LG’s webOS platform, and built-in Google Assistant/Amazon Alexa. Heads up, the refresh rate is only 60Hz (120Hz is better) and there are just three HDMI ports. But otherwise this is a great deal. Note that this 48-inch model is a Best Buy exclusive.

🚨 LOWEST PRICE EVER! I’m starting our Labor Day sales live blog with one of the best deals I’ve seen in all of 2023. Right now you can get the 13-inch MacBook Air M2 on sale for $899 at Best Buy. That’s the cheapest it’s ever been and an epic value for students, Mac fans, or just about anyone in need of a new laptop. Best Buy offered it at this price in August, but it was a members-only deal. It’s now available to anyone. Amazon still has the previous-gen 13-inch MacBook Air M1 on sale for $749 (also an all-time price low), but if you can afford to pay a bit more — the M2 chip is the better investment. Again, that M1 MBA is solid if you’re strapped for cash, but the M2 for $899 is the deal I personally recommend. If you’re on the fence, check out our MacBook Air M2 vs MacBook Air M1 guide by our computing expert Tony Polanco for a side-by-side comparison.
